In the social media realm we have seen a huge boom regarding tatreez content since October 7th, 2023. There has been an influx of people on social media practicing tatreez, sharing their work, teaching history, technique and even people creating new motifs.

While this growing interest in tatreez can be seen as an immediate and impactful way to keep Palestinain heritage and culture alive, there are some instances where information spreads too quickly on social media- whether it is correct or not.
