Bi-weekly online tatreez circles exclusively for palestinians
Be in community with fellow Palestinians while you stitch or just come for a safe space to exist as you are.
Hosted on zoom.
What to Expect-
These online tatreez circles are hosted on zoom specifically for Palestinians only!
Please note, if you are not Palestinian and you join the zoom, you will be asked to leave. There are many other tatreez circles that include Palestinian allies.
These circles are an opportunity for us to be in community together and stitch the way our ancestors did. Feel free to bring your ahweh, shay or knafeh along!
If you are Palestinian, you are more than welcome to join us, whether you are actively stitching, or not.
-
One of our Palestinan hosts will open the zoom call
-
Each circle will be led by one of our Palestinian tatreez hosts. In the first few minutes when everyone who has rsvp’d has joined the call, we will do short introductions so that we can all learn each others names and from where we are stitching.
It will be required that all participants have thier camera on for the safety of our community and identity confirmation.
-
Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.
-
We often include optional check-ins, next steps, or community resources to help you keep the momentum going.
